Background:
This guides user to establish the connection for their JRC NQA-602DC unit onboard with the NMEA DONGLE (NOT for AIS pilot plug).
Solution:
Please find attached circuit diagram for NQA-602DC. On the right hand side, you will be able to see that there are ports labelled as 'TD1', 'TD2', and 'TD3'. Please select any of these ports to be used as long as it is not being utilized by other hardware onboard. You can also see that there is a '+' and '-' sign for each TD set ports.
Please see attached quickstart guide for the NMEA dongle connection. The 'yellow' color code cable have to be connected to the 1st port of the NMEA dongle while the other end of the 'yellow' color code cable have to be connected to the "+" port of the TD set which you wish to use.
Likewise for the 'green' color code cable, you will have to connect it to the 2nd port of the NMEA dongle while the other end of the 'green' color code cable have to be connected to the "-" port of the TD set which you wish to use.
To check if the connection have been established in order, there will be a 'blue' LED light shown on the NMEA dongle itself.
