Solution:

Please refer to attached PDF guide for the AIS Pilot Plug Splitter setup.

Once done, proceed to install the GPS Configuration Application in the DVD that you have received together with the AIS Pilot Plug Splitter.

After installing, please do the following:

1) Open GNS GPS Configuration Software

2) Click on 'Cog Wheel' settings

3) Configuration

4) Click the dropdown box for "Port" and select whichever COM port name which appears

5) Change Baud Rate to "38400"

6) Save

7) Connect

There should be log information appearing under the "Incoming Message" dialog box now.

Once you can confirm that there are "Incoming Message" being captured/generated in the dialog box, you can open Voyager and do the following:

- Voyager

- Configuration

- GPS (Nmea) Settings

- Ensure that 'Use NMEA feed if available" is TICKED

- Save

- On Voyager home page, minimize it so that the navigational map appears

- On the Top right hand corner, you should now have additional options, these options are for your GPS Overlays in Voyager. Click on the icon beside "POS:...." and you should be directed automatically to the vessel's position in Voyager's navigational map

Affected Systems:

- Voyager GPS Configuration Application (all versions)

- AIS Pilot Plug Cables
