Background: 

This is to guide user to test the physical connection of the AIS Pilot Plugs that was established onboard with the help of the Putty Software. If you do not have the Putty software installer yet, you can download from below download link:

https://the.earth.li/~sgtatham/putty/latest/w64/putty-64bit-0.78-installer.msi

Solution: 

We will require you to do test for several 'Speed' settings, therefore you will have to send us multiple screenshots of the results.

Please open the Putty software and do the following (Attached for your reference):

1) Change to 'Serial'

2) Change COM to 'COM1'

3) Change Speed to '2400'

4) Click 'Open'

5) Once done, a window should appear and the information will be transmitted

6) Please give it about 10seconds and take a screenshot of the windows which is capturing the information and send it to us

Also please repeat the above steps, but only change the 'Speed' of the settings in Step #3, these are the different speed settings to be test:

- 4800

- 9600

- 19200

- 38400
