Problem:
User experiences an error message in ADP software which states 'Invalid Activation Key' during activation/re-activation.
Background:
There is currently an existing key in the registry which is not removed and causing the conflict when ADP tries to insert the new Activation Key. Therefore, causing it to detect as an invalid activation key inserted.
Solution:
1. Open the ADP Licence Key Wizard. The "Licence Key Wizard - Activated" screen will appear
2. Click "Obtain or manually add another Activation key", then click "Next"
3. Select the invalid key using the dropdown menu
4. Press the "Delete" key on your keyboard
5. Confirm the warning with "Yes"
Note: Repeat the steps with all invalid keys present in the system, until only the Startup key remains.
6. Close the Wizard
7. Open the ADP Licence Key Wizard. The "Licence Key Wizard - Start-Up Key Only" screen will appear
8. Select "Request or add an Activation Key", click "Next"
9. Select "Request an Activation Key", click "Next"
10. Select if this computer is your "Main" or "Backup" , click "Next"
11. Either send the request directly via email or save the file to send it from a different computer, then close the wizard
