Problem:

User experiences an error message in ADP software which states 'Certificate is not for correct URL' when trying to update their ADP software via Web.


Background: 

The current Certificate that was installed for ADP software has been expired. A renewed certificate must be installed to replace it instead.


Solution: 

To resolve the updating error, you will have to install new certificates (please note the install is different for the individual certificates):

 

1. When downloaded, double click on the "Starfield Secure Certificate Authority".

2. Click Install Certificate... to open the ‘Certificate Import Wizard’

3. Click Next

4. Choose “Automatically select the certificate store based on the type of certificate”

5. Click Next

6. Click Finish

7. Now Double click on the "Starfield Root Certificate Authority"

8. Choose Install Certificate

9. Click Next

10. Choose "Place all certificates in the following store" and hit browse

11. Choose the Trusted Root Certification Authorities and click ok and then continue through all prompts

 

Note: Administrator privileges are required to do this
