Problem:

After sending the request file to UKHO server to process, an automated reply from UKHO comes to the user email inbox which states that the response file is too big.


Background: 

This usually occurs when user did not load the base NMs data from the DVD into their e-NP Reader first before they have generated a request file to be processed.


Solution: 

1) Insert the latest eNP/ADP disc into the CD/DVD-drive of your PC

2) Start e-NP Reader, open “Tools” and click “Get NMs and Permits”

3) Click “Next”, choose “Media” and click “Next” again

4) Click “Browse”, and select your CD/DVD-drive

5) Click “Load” and the NMs will be loaded from the disc to your PC

6) After this process will be completed, click on "Finish"

7) Generate a new update request and send it to "updates@enavigator.ukho.gov.uk"

8) You'll receive in a few minutes an update response file - load it to e-NP Reader
